Refund policy

At Mikazzi Accessories, we create made-to-order and customised jewellery with care. Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before placing your order.

This policy complies with the European Union Consumer Rights Directive and Irish consumer protection law.


1. Custom & Personalised Items

Under EU law, custom-made and personalised items are exempt from the 14-day right of withdrawal.

This means:

All customised and made-to-order jewellery is final sale
No returns, exchanges, or refunds are accepted once production has begun

Exceptions apply only if the item:

  • Arrives damaged

  • Is faulty

  • Or it's different from what you ordered


2. Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing:

  • Your order number

  • Clear photos or videos showing the issue

  • A brief explanation

Once confirmed, we will offer one of the following in line with EU law:

  • A free replacement

  • A repair

  • Or a full refund if no other solution is possible

All replacement or return shipping costs will be covered by us.


3. Non-Custom Items 

If we sell any non-custom jewellery or accessories, you have the legal right to cancel and return your order within 14 days of delivery, without giving any reason.

To qualify:

  • Items must be unused and unworn

  • Returned in original packaging

  • Hygiene seals (if applicable) must be intact

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.


4. Order Cancellations

  • Custom orders cannot be cancelled once production has started

  • Cancellation requests submitted within 12 hours of placing your order may be accepted

  • If approved, refunds are processed within 5–15 business days


5. Refused or Undeliverable Parcels

If your order is returned to us due to:

  • An incorrect delivery address was provided at checkout

  • Failure to collect the parcel

  • Refusal of delivery

You may be required to pay a reshipping fee. Refunds are not guaranteed for refused parcels.


6. Wear & Tear / Jewellery Care

Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, or water exposure are not covered by our return or refund policy.
