When it comes to beads and gemstones, Amarachi Chris Madu surely knows her stuff. A jewellery professional and entrepreneur, she is the founder of Mikazzi Brand, a range of beauty and fashion accessories.
Amarachi, who is currently a Financial crimes analyst, started her business in Abuja but recently relocated to the Republic of Ireland for a Master’s degree in Management. To foster growth and development, her Mikazzi brand has since established an online presence. The products are marketed mainly on social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, Etsy online store, Shopify, eBay, and YouTube.
“It is safe to say that I operate locally, regionally, and internationally. My target audience include male, females, children, youth, and the elderly, who are inspired by cultural heritage,” she said.
Employing raw materials like wool, raffia, wood, gold, silver, bronze, and any other substance imaginable to create customized accessories, the Mikazzi brands are designed in such a way that they reflect customers’ personalities, interests, and preferences.
According to Amarachi, Mikazzi is a fashion and lifestyle brand that focuses on producing handmade heritage crafts such as custom-made bracelets, neckpieces, and accessories in general. “These products are made with passion and careful details; they exude beauty, class, elan, and panache. In essence, the outcome is nothing but satisfaction from my clients. My services are swift, and I ensure convenience for anyone who orders by delivering the goods intact. Over the years, my brand name and integrity have improved tremendously. I have showcased my products in several exhibitions in Nigeria, including Abuja 500, Abuja Summer Festival, and Litnation Entrepreneurial Exhibitions,” she explained.
